A cousin collection of our Montage European Oak. Less rustic and more elegant but just as beautiful. Cambridge Estate complements the latest designer inspired styles with a durable long lasting finish process to create a timeless floor. Planks are 7-1/2 inches in width and random lengths up to 82 inches long. Each plank is hand selected by our Craftsmen and then dual hand stained to accentuate the natural character and movement in the wood’s grain pattern. A grand statement indeed and delightful way to add natural charm to your home.
82" LONG & 7-1/2" WIDE PLANKS
Planks are random length and can go up to 82 inches long. That is about a foot and a half taller than the average woman in the United States. At 7-1/2" wide, planks are also 50% wider than other generic hardwood flooring product. All this translates to less planks to install and less resulting end joints giving the floor a natural beauty look.
Each of the species in this collection have their own unique character, no two planks are alike. Subtle artistic touches have been added to enhance the inherent wood patterns. This can be seen from the dual hand stained colors to the chiseled edge treatments. Everything comes together to bring you a floor that looks naturally stylish.
HIGH PERFORMANCE UV CURED FINISH
We apply 9 coats of High Performance UV Cured Finish on each plank. Yet it remains nearly invisible like it is not even there at all. Abrasion tests have proven that UV cured finishes are up to 3 times more durable and longer lasting than any other finishes. Your floor will look and feel like new even after many years of use and it will be a long time before refinishing is needed - though the process is very easy when that time comes. Depending on the equipment used, the floor can go back in service within seconds after refinishing is completed. Even better, the finish emits zero or nearly zero Volatile Organic Compounds so there are no lingering odors nor any adverse health effects.
DUAL HAND STAINING & DEEP RICH 2 TONE COLORS
Selected styles are thermal treated to achieve the deep rich color visuals. Wood is a natural product
and each plank will react differently to this process resulting in color variations. This kind of variation
helps display the true wood characters and is one of the most desired attributes in hardwood flooring. Every plank has been stained not once but twice by the hands of our skilled Craftsmen. Along with the
thermal treatment process you get a floor that has a range of colors instead of one that is monotone. These colors are so vibrant they will bring life to any room regardless of where the floor is installed.
Tongue and groove profile makes installation a lot easier. Planks can be glued down, floated or stapled*. Stable engineered construction allows the flooring to be installed on, above, and below ground level.
The UV Cured Finish we use does an impressive job of resisting chemicals, stains and water. Everything comes off easily by simply cleaning the floor with a damp mop. Not only can the flooring be in contact with direct sunlight it will also not turn yellow over time.
